On July 19th our parish began a week-long celebration of our patron and friend St. James with the 11th parish family festival. The festivities and events included great food, great company, fun games for the little ones, musical entertainment and local vendors. A great time was had by all. The 50/50 raffle netted over $16,000 for church renovations. On July 20th, musical director Richard Foley and his two sons performed selections by Beethoven and Brahms for piano, violin and cello, and on July 22nd we gathered outside on the Great Lawn for a showing of The Way and a viewing of some of Fr. Bob's photos from El Camino de Santiago. Last, on July 25th, the Feast of St. James, Fr. Bob celebrated an outdoor Mass on the Great Lawn.
